Attention Spanish Club Members: We are having a meeting on Wednesday, December 7th in Room #301 at 2:20 pm to discuss preparations for the holiday celebration.
There will be a general meeting of the Spanish Honor Society members on Tuesday, December 6th at 2:20 in Room #285 Main. Get involved!
Dominican College will be here on Thursday, December 8th from 9:00 – 11:00 in the Career Center for an instant admission to college event. If you are interested, you MUST see your counselor to register prior to Dec. 8th for the details and to sign up.
Attention Juniors & Seniors: There will be a HEOP representative from Mount Saint Mary College in the Guidance Career Center today, Friday. December 2nd from 11:00 to 12;00 PM. If you would like to receive information about Mount Saint Mary College or learn more about the HEOP Program, please stop in today, Friday, December 2nd, period 6 in the Career Center.
Auditions for NFA’s musical production of Grease will take place on December 6th. Pick up audition material in the Dance Studio (Room #110). See the bulletin board beside the auditorium for more details. Please see Mrs. Clifford if you have any questions.
“Knock, knock, give a sock!”The Bilingual Honor Society is calling on you to help keep little feet warm this winter. A children’s sock drive will be held from now until December 20th. Boxes will be located in Guidance and the Health Office. You can also see Mrs. Sileno or Mrs. Hurtado-Kuhn. Socks will be delivered to elementary students right here in Newburgh. This act of kindness is done in memory of Johnny Sileno. We thank you for your support!

The NFA Guidance Department is looking for students interested in becoming language ambassadors for new students that come from other countries. If you speak another language and would be interested in helping along a fellow classmate get settled in our school, please see Mrs. Guitierrez-Colon or Mrs. Hurtado-Kuhn in guidance for details. Community service hours for your participation is available.
